Country singer Ned LeDoux's 2-year-old daughter Haven dies from choking accident at home

Country singer Ned LeDoux's daughter Haven has passed away, the parents of the two-year-old girl announced on Sunday, October 20. Haven LeDoux died due to a choking incident, they said.

"It is with great sadness that Ned and Morgan inform friends and fans that their two-year-old daughter Haven passed away on October 20 due to a tragic choking accident in the home," Morgan and Ned LeDoux said.

The tragic news of Haven's death comes after she celebrated her second birthday in September.

Her proud father had said at the time on Instagram, posting a photo of the little girl grinning surrounded by colorful cakes and cupcakes, "Turned the big #2 today! Happy to be home for this special day. What a character this one."

The couple also shares another child, a son named Branson, and has been married for 11 years.

According to , "paramedics were called to the family’s northeast Kansas home on October 20th and arrived quickly, but attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful," the family had earlier said in a statement, which has now been removed. 

"The LeDoux family appreciates your love and support and is requesting privacy at this time," they said. Other details of the incident have not been released yet. 

Ned is the son of country singer Chris LeDoux, who passed away in 2005 after he succumbed to cancer.

He passed away at the age of 56 and was popularly known as an influence to country music icon Garth Brooks. Ned Le Doux is set to release an album on November 8 called 'Next in Line'.
